Turkish Airlines jets fly from Istanbul International Airport, whereas Anadolu Jet planes depart from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (and typically provide slightly cheaper prices on this route).Pegasus Airlines is Turkey’s largest budget airline, with even more alternatives than the national carrier. There are 15 flight departures a day from Istanbul to Izmir, with options available at both Istanbul International Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Anadolu Jet’s fares are usually comparable to, or just a smidgeon less expensive than, those offered by Pegasus Airlines.
Driving directions from Istanbul to Izmir

The quickest way, which runs through Bursa, is 478 kilometers and takes around five hours without stops.
