The Cappadocia region has two airports: Kayseri Airport and Nevsehir Airport:

Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR): The major airport in Cappadocia is Kayseri Erkilet Airport, which serves the region. It is the center of transportation for the Cappadocia area with its new, contemporary terminal. Goreme is 75 kilometers from Kayseri Erkilet Airport, and driving between Kayseri and Goreme takes around one hour and 15 minutes. This airport has an international terminal as well, but no airline has a scheduled flight to Kayseri from other countries. Some charter flights (usually from Germany, Russia and Ukraine) have flights to this airport on some certain seasons.

Nevsehir Airport: Nevsehir Airport is located 30 kilometers (19 miles) northwest of Nevsehir City. Daily flights connect Nevsehir with Istanbul via Turkish Airlines, while some chartered flights use the airport in Nevsehir. It takes about 45 minutes to arrive to Goreme from the airport. Even though it is closer to Goreme, there are less flights into this airport. This airport has an international terminal as well, but no airline has a scheduled flight to Nevsehir from other countries. Some charter flights (usually from Germany, Russia and Ukraine) have flights to this airport on some certain seasons.

Airline Companies Flying into Cappadocia: Several flights depart daily on Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines and Anadolu Jet to and from Istanbul. Sun Express Airlines offer direct flights to Izmir (Ephesus Region) on some certain dates. Pegasus Airlines operates a small number of weekly flights from Antalya during the summer season.
